It is at an altitude of 2105 meters in İkizdere District. Anzer, also known as Ballıköy, is connected to the Çoruh River and Bayburt City on one side and Trabzon Uzungöl Tourism Center on the other. In addition to the cultural effects of being in a transition area, it is on the way to becoming one of the important tourism centers of the future with its location surrounded by Meles, Petran, Kabahor and Garzavan plateaus. Located at the foothills of Kırklardağ, it is a plateau center. There are food, beverage and accommodation opportunities. The world-famous Anzer honey is distilled from thousands of different flowers of the plateaus. It is especially attractive for nature walks and photography with its deciduous trees that turn different shades of green in summer and yellow and red colors in winter.
